What is Mercury Toxicity?

Mercury Toxicity is an illness caused by high levels of mercury in ones body.
Mercury is a heavy metal with neurotoxic properties. This means that it can affect the bodies central nervous system or brain should its levels become too high within the body.

Mercuty can cause the following:

  1. Nervousness
  2. Dementia
  3. Personality change
  4. Trembling

People are continuously made aware of the danger of mercury and the damage it could do to an individual through media and advertising. Lots of industrial work shops eliminate the use of mercury and try to keep it out of the environment, however mercury is still been used today. If mercury is inhaled 75% of it will enter your blood stream.

Mercury poisoning can be classified in two groups

  1. ACUTE – This occurs when you come into direct contact with mercury or mercury vapor for a short period of time.
  2. CHRONIC – Occurs when the individual has been in contact with mercury over a long period of time.

What is candida?

Candida is known as a common overproduction of yeast in the body.

Where is Candida found in the body:

  1. Digestive tract
  2. Throat
  3. Mouth
  4. Vagina (Vaginal Yeast Infection or Vaginal Candidiasis – in women)

Mercury Toxicity causes Candida

If you have chronic yeast infections or candida, there could be a possibility of mercury (toxicity) poisoning. The rational behind this is that the body produces yeast in a bid to absorb mercury in the body thereby preventing it from entering the blood stream.
This sounds like a good way to protect the body from Mercury, however once the yeast cells has absorbed the mercury, they are unable to dispose of it.

  12. Irregular menstrual cycles in women
  13. Poor judgment
  14. Fear/anxiety
  15. Asthma
  16. Slow thinking

Mercury is one of the major causes of candida and studies have shown that Mercury causes quick growth of candida in ones body and prevents full elimination or excretion of candida.
