About the Author
Patricia Erickson is a criminologist who has worked at the Addiction Research Foundation for five years. During that time she has been engaged in research on various aspects of the effects of legal control strategies on cannabis use, including the work which forms this book. She has recently returned from two years of study in Scotland where she was affiliated with the Children's Hearings Research Project at the University of Glasgow. Prior to joining ARF, she was involved in research projects at the Centre of Criminology, University of Toronto and at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education.
She is co-author of Apparently Suffering from Mental Disorder and has published many articles in such journals as the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology,the Canadian Journal of Criminology, the University of Toronto Law Journal, Criminology, and the International Journal of the Addictions.
