Illicit Drug Overdose: A Major Cause of Preventable Death - Eurasian Harm
Reduction Network

Overdose is a major cause of preventable death in many regions of the world.
Although the scale of this problem is huge, the number of projects to reduce
the impact of overdose is severely limited. This seminar will give civil
society and public health experts a unique opportunity to share their
experience of overdose prevention with CND Delegates and discuss ways
forward in mobilizing greater international commitment.

. M. Southwell, International Network of People Who Use Drugs. How
much does it cost to ignore drug overdose? Missed opportunity to prevent
overdose related deaths

. A. Clear, Harm Reduction Coalition. 15 years of overdose
prevention in the USA

. D. Ocheret, EHRN. Response to the overdose morbidity and mortality
in the Eastern Europe & Central Asia

Best regards,
